Medal for Courage

President of the Republic of Macedonia, George Ivanov for the first time awarded with the Medal for bravery and distinguished Mr. Sami Nuredini for exceptional courage and sacrifice in saving human lives in difficult and dangerous conditions from the waters of the river Vardar.

The Medal for courage for exceptional courage and dedication in carrying out assigned tasks in extremely difficult and dangerous conditions in the action for the extraction of dead miner from the mine “Bucim” was awarded to Colonel Orce Jordev, Major Dragancho Vojneski, Major Dimce Velkov, Senior Sergeant Stojce Stoilov, senior sergeant Zoran Zoran and sergeant Ristov Trajkov.

New Board of MHS Elected

At the annual meeting held on 13-12-2011 the new board was elected for a term of 4 years. In fact he current Board have been re-elected: Jovan Jonovski, President, Kiril Trajkovski, Vice President and Peter Gajdov, Secretary.

Medal of Merit for Macedonia for the Macedonian Honorary Consul in Japan

At the ceremony held in Tokyo, during the visit of Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski in Japan, Macedonia’s Ambassador to Japan with headquarters in Vienna, Gjorgi Philipov handed Medal of merits for Macedonia to Kiyoshi Mizuno, the Honorary Consul General of Japan in Macedonia.

South East European University awarded the Order of Merit of the Republic of Macedonia

On the occasion of the ten-year anniversary, the President of the Republic of Macedonia others. Ivanov has awarded the University of Southeast Europe with the Order of Merit for Macedonia. Order was received by its rector, Zamir Dika.

In Bucharest, Liana Dumitresku Posthumously Awarded with the Order of Merit for Macedonia

Today in Bucharest, President of the Republic of Macedonia, decorated Liana Dumitresku, the first representative of the Macedonians in the Romanian Parliament, with the Order of Merit for Macedonia. Dumitresku was awarded with this highest recognition for her commitment to the Macedonian community and promotion of the Macedonian-Romanian relations. The order was handed to her mother, Constantina Dumitresku, current president of the Association of Macedonians in Romania.
